Christophe Dance: At the Les Ancizes site (Puy de Dôme – 1400 employees), A&D produces special steels and superalloys for the most demanding industries. To do this, we recycle a maximum amount of materials, purchased externally or from our internal scraps. They are stored in a “material park”, the proper functioning of which is a constant challenge in terms of productivity. The challenge of the project was to develop a mobile application to manage this stockpile, within a very short and non-negotiable timeframe: launch in October 2020 for production start-up in the first week of January 2021.
Christophe Dance: I have been working with Lojelis teams for about 4/5 years and it is a real pleasure to work together. With Lojelis, it’s a team effort: the rules are known and exchanges are made in complete transparency and with mutual trust!
Lojelis and Aubert & Duval have worked together on many projects: today, the Lojelis teams have acquired knowledge of the company and its activities. As a result, when I bring up a new subject, they quickly understand! They know the company’s culture, which allows them to be operational quickly. They also challenge us on various subjects with very relevant questions and proposals!
Christophe Dance: On this project, I discovered another facet of Lojelis: the ability to mobilise themselves to take up a challenge and keep their commitment. And what availability! On the usual projects, the operation is traditional with successive runs and functional parallelisation. This time, there was an emergency. We were in a sort of commando situation (laughs).
On the business side, the teams were satisfied with what we were able to offer them, they were surprised by the speed of execution by Aubert & Duval’s IT department and the completeness of the scope covered. Very good people, both internal and external, worked together.
Christophe Dance: The Lojelis consultants involved in the project did not behave like subcontractors, but like partners: there is absolute trust and requirements understood and accepted by both parties. We can tell each other everything, exchange freely, which allows us to move forward quickly and confidently, and this is what makes a project successful!
Christophe Dance: Dynamism. Competence. Knowledge of Aubert & Duval.
There is absolute trust between the two parties [...]. We can tell each other everything, exchange freely, which allows us to move forward quickly and confidently, and that's what makes a project successful!
